This replica is a redesign in coupé in full aluminium body. Under the bonnet you will find a BMW 6 cylinder engine with 3 x DCOE 40 carburetors. The engine starts immediately and runs without any problem or leak. The shifter shifts smoothly trough out all 4 gears. 16” wheels are installed and an indépendant suspension

This replica is based on the Maserati A6GCS, the last true Maserati that was designed by the Maserati Brothers before they left the company. This car received the name Monofaro or single headlight and was initially designed to have a coupé body but the Maserati Brothers focussed on weight to design a lighter ‘Siluro’ or torpedo body featuring cycle-wing fenders to protect the open wheels during racing. The Maserati brothers left the company to establish their own company O.S.C.A. with their sights set on building lightweight, fast racing cars.

The car was designed to attent races, a masterpiece for the race community. The Monofaro attented in Formula 2 races where the greats such as Alberto Ascari, Stirling Moss and Tazio Nuvolari battled with each other at race meetings all over Europe.
