info

Aston Martin DBR1 has been created in 1956 as a sports racing car by Aston Martin. Their goal was to win the World Sportcar Championchip as well as non-chamionship sportscar races at the time. They won one of the most famous race 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Engine is a 6 in line cylinders 2800 cc. A powerful engine with a beautiful sound that produces 178 hp. 3 double side 45’ Weber Carburetors and DOHC camshafts are installed. Gearbox is a five-speed manual shifter. 16’ Avon tires are placed on the wheels.

Aston Martin followed the new changes to the rules for sports car racing. No longer was needed to use cars which were road legal, or based on road legal cars. The design has been inspired on the Aston Martin DB3S.

This Aston Martin DBr1 is a recreation of the original car. This car has an astonishing finish and perfect in proportion body. Body is made from full aluminum. Original World War 2 RAF Spitfire switches are installed into the dashboard (same as in the winning car of Le Mans 1959).
