In the 30's three of these trucks came from Timboctu to South America. Citroën Kegresse in need of restoration. This truck was imported from Africa into South America in the 30’s where this particular one was modified into an agricultural truck. All is complete except for the rear halftracks.

Autochenille, participated at Citroen Croisieres, One was bought by Mr. Guerrero, developper of pinamar, in Argentinia. The second by Mr. Pira the founder of Pirapolis, Uruguay and the third was bought by Mr. Carlos Idaho Gesell from Argentinia. All of them were used to the sand of the dunes, where trees had been planted to fix the sand. This truck was the one belonging to Mr Gesell, the other two dissapeared.Mr Antonio Schwartz bought the car from Mr Gesell and went with it across the sandy beaches of Argentina. Later the truck was equipped to sprinke herbicides on a farm. The truck was in use till 1964. Mr Antonio Schwartz was a german engineer, owner of the electricity usines of General Madaniefe and Pinamar. Mr Schwartz said that this truck was one of the 30 that went to Africa with the famous citroen expedition.
