Bentley had some difficulties with their Brand in the mid-60s. The big competitor Rolls-Royce was at that time more popular. The two brands were using the similar technology and body of the cars. Bentley had to differentiate themselves from the RR types. One important part was the performance of the car. The differentiation was a success in 1990. Bentley sold more cars than Rolls-Royce. When the Continental R was released in Geneva in 1991, the moment was right. Even more important was that Rolls-Royce did not offered a new car. The new Continental R was offered with only with the very powerful turbo engine of the Turbo-R sedan.
This Bentley Turbo R is offered with Belgian paperwork and invoices. This car has been imported from Monaco to Belgium. Technically the car has been maintained very well. Under the hood you will find a 6.7L V8 engine producing 389 hp.
